Worth the Money!

After searching both the app store and the internet for the best screen recording software, I ended up here. This is hands down the best application that I have found to record my screen while also operating Photoshop. The video files aren’t small because they’re the true resolution of your screen, so be prepared to take up some room! What I personally liked about this program is that its files loaded very well into iMovie. Other programs would create laggy videos without a smooth motion, but Capturer has given me zero issues. The program doesn’t slow down any other laptop functions until you approach the 45 minute mark. At that point, the file that it’s creating is so large that it begins drawing processing power from your other applications. To fix this, simply stop recording and start another video! As I previously mentioned, iMovie will easily allow you to string your videos back together into a single, coherent file. For easy recording options, I HIGHLY recommend setting up your own shortcuts to start and stop recording video files. One of my only complaints is that there is no aspect ratio options to record with. i.e.; 4:3, 16:9, etc.
